چکیده
Essential oils (EOs) with a wide spectrum of antibacterial activities have been suggested as potent alternative sources for controlling multidrug-resistant bacteria. This paper presented the evaluation anti-H. pylori activity EOs from rhizomes Zingiber officinale, Curcuma zedoaria, longa and Alpinia officinarum. The Eos, obtained by steam distillation method, were evaluated their minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC), bactericidal (MBC), 50% (IC50) Helicobacter pylori-urease activitiy. results indicated that Z. officinale EO exhibited strong antimicrobial towards H. MIC MBC values 0.1 1.25 mg/mL, respectively. also showed effect against in comparison three tested EOs, an IC50 value 0.2 mg/mL complete inhibition at 4 mg/mL. analyzed GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry) was rich sesquiterpenes (51.9%) possessed α-zingiberene (21.1%), camphene (12.2%), β-sesquiphellandrene (8.2%), β-bisabolene (7.2%), α-citral (6.8%), eucalyptol (6.3%) β-citral (5.0%) major components. Further studies need to be carried out order use prevention eradication infection.
